Alisha endeavours to be a strong advocate for a culturally diverse set of clients, whānau, hapū and iwi. She is passionate about assisting clients with navigating legal spaces in a way that makes them feel supported and safe.
Alisha holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Auckland, and a Master of Laws (Applied Law) specialising in family law.
Alisha is an experienced litigator practising primarily in Māori legal issues and family law. Alisha’s experience includes being contracted as counsel assisting the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care.

Alisha is an active member of Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa (the Māori Law Society) and is an active member of Te Kōmiti Ture-ā-Whānau, the society’s family law committee. She is the committee’s co-representative on the executive of the Family Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society and shares this role with firm Partner, Amy Chesnutt.
Outside of work Alisha continues her development in te reo me ngā tikanga Māori and enjoys spending time with friends and whānau.
Alisha is a lead legal aid provider in the Waitangi Tribunal and Family Court if financial assistance is required.
